The Position

The Symicor Group is seeking an experienced Contract Executive Career Coach.  This is a remote position.  The career coach will be responsible for assisting our clients in identifying personal goals, developing leadership skills and planning career moves. Duties will include, providing feedback on resumes or cover letters, strategizing for a successful job interview, providing effective networking tips, etc.

This is a part-time1099 contract position with a salary of up $90/Hour.

Remote Contract Executive Career Coach responsibilities include:

• Conducting targeted interviews with each candidate and constructing a detailed profile designed to set up a reemployment strategy.
• Gathering work history and other information to provide to one of our resume writers who will produce an effective resume and cover letter for the candidate.
• Identifying client needs through client interaction, research, and insights.
• Administering Candidate Assessments and the ability to provide a summary of each to the candidate.
• Providing actual job search services leveraging our technology platform to conduct advance searches on behalf of the candidate (com, LinkedIn, Workable.com, Careerbuilder.com, Monster.com, etc).
• Conduct actual video interviews with interview questions specifically targeted to the candidate’s primary search preferences.
• Knowledge of banking a plus.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two years case management, employment, job development and vocational counseling experience required.
• Certified Career Coach (CCC), Certified Career Planning Coach (CCPC), or Certified Career Transition Coach (CTC) designation preferred.
• Ability to assist with job search strategies including social networking, online resources, resume guidance, interviewing skills.
• Communicate effectively with clients in written and oral form, including electronic media, using positive interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently on a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to multi-task and maintain strict deadlines for reporting and feedback.
• Organize, prioritize, manage and carry out duties efficiently and within established timeframes.
