** LOCATION: Onsite Role | Client Location: 2873 Broadway STE 100, Cheektowaga, NY 14227

** DURATION: 3 -month assignment with the possibility of extension

** WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time, 24–36 hours/week (Mandatory: Fridays & Sundays)

• Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Monday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr. W2

Job Summary:

• The Pharmacy Support Associate plays a vital role in accurately and efficiently processing prescription orders in a high-volume, automated environment. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, this role is responsible for preparing, packaging, replenishing, and shipping medications with strict adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules.
• Retrieve, verify, and process medications from shelves (unit-of-use and bulk).
• Replenish automated dispensing machines with medications.
• Use handheld scanners to track and verify products.
• Perform basic math calculations to ensure correct prescription counts.
• Prepare orders for shipping, including packing paperwork and labeling.
• Maintain workflow efficiency to meet daily production goals.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy floor.
• Support continuous improvement and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform other duties as assigned, including housekeeping.

Job Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Reliable transportation to work onsite.
• Ability to lift/carry 20–30 lbs consistently; up to 30 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand/walk for an 8+ hour shift.
• Bending, twisting, reaching, grasping, and repetitive motion required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Visual acuity to read computer screens, scanners, and labels.
• Preferred: Prior warehouse or pharmacy operations experience.
• Knowledge of pharmacy standards and best practices.
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn pharmacy software systems.
• Pharmacy Tech degree or coursework (not required in NYS).
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
